as the story producer on this show, i had the pleasure of working with 6 families on and off screen, helping them to tell their stories. we were renovating their homes; every family had a home filled with love, but the layout of their home was not working for their lifestyles. it was my job to help tell their story in an ‘honest’ way, and to tie their story into the renovation of their home.
